You're like a walking sun, but maybe it's not a big deal. Maybe it's not a big deal that you take care of me in ways foreign to me, that I can physically feel your love for me emanating from every pore of your body, that it's you and me against the world. Maybe it's not a big deal that your smile alone can subdue my sadness, or that our dreams were birthed from the same womb, or that your passion for justice puts stars in my eyes. So maybe it's not a big deal that I choose to share you with the world not because I don't own you (I don't), or because I'm unselfish (I'm not), but because not doing so would be the wrongest thing I could ever do in this life. Maybe it is a big deal.
